Figure studies in oil

I have a painting in progress right now, and I am waiting for the current layer to dry before I go back and add the next.  So while that's going on, I did a couple of oil studies today.  I recently picked up a couple pads of canvas paper so I could do just that, and I'm liking this stuff a lot.  So here are the two studies from today.  Both are done with raw umber, burnt sienna, and white.  I used a bit of linseed oil to soften it up, but these are mostly dry brush "painted drawings" if you will...
