I have a few updates to share on my current and upcoming shows:
- The Magic Hour, a national exhibition of sunrise and sunset landscape paintings is currently showing at the Rice Gallery of Fine Art in Overland Park, Kansas. It will be showing through March 13, so there is still plenty of time to see it if you haven't yet.

- The Contemporary "Scape" Exhibition, showing at Hilliard Gallery in the Crossroads Arts District in downtown Kansas City will be opening on First Friday, March 6 and will be showing through April 22. This is a show featuring works of landscape and other "scape" scenes, and my painting The Passage will be showing and available for purchase. - The Blue Springs Fine Art Show will be held at Vesper Hall in Blue Springs, Missouri on March 7-8, 2020, and I will have two paintings showing and available for purchase - The Old Made New and Open Skies. This will be my personal 10th anniversary of participating in the Blue Springs show. I've come quite a long way. My first time at the Blue Springs show in 2010 was my first show as a professional, and I just remember both of my paintings being virtually unnoticed. A lot has happened since then, including several awards, about 5 solo shows, and participation in some national competitions. Quite a journey so far. If you're in the KC area, hope to see you there. - NOAPS Best of America Small Paintings Exhibition is coming to McBride Gallery of Fine Art in Annapolis, Maryland from April 5 - May 3, 2020. This year, 150 paintings out of over 1000 entries were selected for the show, and I'm thrilled to say my painting Outcast is among those selected. I will not personally be present for the show itself, but I would just ask your support and prayer for good things. It is a juried competition, and it is fierce. The Grand Prize winner receives $3000 among other accolades, and there are other award categories up for grabs as well. Last year, I was fortunate to have a painting in this show, which took place at RS Hanna Gallery in Fredericksburg, TX, and while I didn't win any awards, I was excited to learn that it had sold during the show. Anything is possible!
