Coming Up...

There are a few things coming up that I wanted to remind everyone about, including one announcement I haven't mentioned yet.

• First of all, the Juried Small Works Exhibition at The Rice Gallery of Fine Art opens this Friday, March 26th during gallery hours 10:00am - 6:00pm.  Masks are required for entry.  The Rice Gallery of Fine Art is located at 4829 W 119th St, Overland Park, KS.  The show continues through May 15.  Please check it out if you have the opportunity!  The works will also be available for purchase through the gallery's website store at https://thericegallery.com/store/

• I am still working on all new 6x6" small works that will be available on my Ebay page.  Today I finished another one, and there will be more to come!  I have two others that will be listed on Ebay very soon.  Each of my 6x6" pieces are listed at $175.  Check them out, along with my other small paintings available at https://www.ebay.com/usr/ryandart 

• Great News!!  The Blue Springs Fine Art Show, presented by the Blue Springs Art League is a go!  Usually taking place in March, this year it has been pushed back to June 5-6.  All other details are the same as usual.  It will be held at Vesper Hall in Blue Springs, MO.  More details to come!

6th Annual National Juried Show - The Rice Gallery of Fine Art

Hello everyone,

Today I am happy to announce my entry into The Rice Gallery of Fine Art 6th Annual National Juried Exhibition, which will be taking place March 26 - May 15, 2021.

The Rice Gallery is located at 4829 W. 119th St. in Overland Park, Kansas.  There will not be an opening reception for the show, but the gallery will be open to the public throughout the duration.  So please feel free to visit and check out the show starting March 26.  

All works will also be available for sale at the Rice Gallery's online store.  So if you are unable to visit the gallery in person, please consider purchasing through the gallery's website https://thericegallery.com

The painting I will have available at the show is a 8x6" portrait called Still #2.

March BoldBrush Competition

 Hello friends,

Today I entered one of my small 6x6" paintings in the March 2021 BoldBrush competition.  BoldBrush is something I've thought about doing for a long time, but never got around to doing it until now.  This is my first entry ever in the competition, so it would mean a whole lot to me if you could visit my BoldBrush link and give my painting a vote.  

I have absolutely no expectations for this, considering this competition gets literally thousands of entries every month, and it's really quite inconceivable that my single entry will get any kind of recognition.  To win any prize, your work has to really REALLY stand out, and on top of that, be liked by the judge.  But hey, why not.
