Studio Updates, November 2020

Hello and greetings from the studio!

We are fast approaching the end of 2020 (Thank God Almighty), and I wanted to update you on what is coming up and what is happening now.

  • First off, I want to announce my entry in the State of the Arts virtual exhibition, presented by the Prairie Village Arts Council (Prairie Village, KS).  This year, the show is strictly an online event taking place on PVAC's website, and the link for the show will go live this Friday, November 13th.  My entry for this year is Beside Still Waters, a 20x16" oil on linen figurative piece from 2019.  I will have more information on the show and People's Choice voting this Friday.

  • Second, I would like to invite you to join me on Parler!  I just joined Parler last night and I would love it if you would give me a follow if you're on it too.  As a fine artist and an American, I am a freedom-loving, anti-censorship individual, and yes even I have been censored on Facebook.  I am hoping that this new social media platform has a promising future.  I will still be on FB and Instagram as well, but Parler will be an additional place for you to join me in my ongoing mission to make art great again.  My Parler handle is @RyanDArt.  Join me!

  • I will soon be receiving notification on the Images Gallery Juried exhibition, which has also decided to go strictly virtual this year.  I have entered three paintings, and I should know by Monday, November 16th if any have been selected for the show.  My three entries for the show are This Is The Day That The Lord Has Made, Patience, and Washed By The Water.

  • More to come soon!  Be sure to follow me on all of my social media platforms for new work as it is completed, works in progress, show announcements and other news.  Facebook, Instagram and Parler!
